REMARC, an Italian automotive parts distributor operating exclusively in the domestic market, partnered with Göllmann to optimize its sourcing and procurement strategy through the Chinese supply ecosystem. Although REMARC’s sales activities are fully focused on Italy, increasing cost pressure and supply-chain complexity required a structured reassessment of China-based manufacturing and supplier options. Göllmann carried out market research and supplier mapping across key Chinese automotive production clusters, acting as a strategic interface between Italian management and Chinese suppliers. The project supported REMARC in improving procurement efficiency, supply stability, and decision transparency, strengthening its ability to use China as a reliable and competitive sourcing base for the Italian market.
